The museum was set up properly and provided many interesting insights about the past of the Fujisan. There was a lot to look at, and most of it was worth looking at. I always enjoy looking at old maps and other old drawings/pictures.

Also the exhibition of the endangered animals was imposing. Unfortunately there was not as usual enough information in different foreign languages. The exhibitions were however detailed and elaborately produced. I liked the display of the different species of wildlife that can be found in the ecosystems surrounding Mt.Fuji.

All in all, a good opportunity to get an overall overview of the area around Fujiyama.

Relatively little explanation even in Japanese of things. It would still make things easier to read an English description as some of the terms can get pretty technical.
